The Lopez Lake Adventure is back due to popular demand and we couldn’t be happier.  Unfortunately due to low numbers last year we lost a considerable amount of money. In order to sustain this event it is mandatory we reach our breakeven point of 200 participants by March 1st. Please sign up early and keep the adventure going.

The Lopez Lake AR is designed to bridge the gap between 2-hour sprint races and our 12-hour Dawn to Dusk race.  It doesn’t hurt that the terrain in and around Lake Lopez is beautiful and epic with a great mix of single track, fire road and off trail terrain.

This race encompasses the major disciplines found in longer adventure racing competitions -- including navigation throughout and a ropes section. The Lopez Lake AR provides a challenge to experienced adventure racers and those who are new to adventure racing.
It includes:

    • 4 to 6 miles of kayaking
    • 10 to 15 miles of mountain biking on road, single track and fire roads
    • 7 to 8 miles of trail running
    • Navigation/Orienteering (Map and Compass)
    • Rope Challenge

We're working with Pinnacle Training Systems to develop a training course for AR for locals and online training. Click below to find out more!
